Gema Landaverde is half Mexican and half Salvadoran. She is a Computer Systems Engineer and has 18 years of experience, highlighting her participation in Cybersecurity. She currently leads a global Offensive Security Team for one of the biggest Analytics companies. She holds certifications in Ethical Hacking  and ISO27001, and has been recognized as one of the top women in cybersecurity in Latin America.

Gema has been part of the leadership team in multiple organizations and has a strong background in risk and compliance, having developed and implemented cybersecurity strategies and frameworks for various industries, including electrical, manufacturing, and financial sectors. She has also conducted forensic analysis, SOX audits, and security evaluations as an independent consultant. She is passionate about innovation and emerging technologies, such as AI, blockchain, fintech, and quantum computing, and their implications for cybersecurity. She is also committed to supporting causes that empower women and girls, and educate children and young people in STEM and cybercrime prevention.
